About Me

My name is Gaye Williams - I am a Consultant in Fitness, Nutrition and Weight Management.
Encouraged at an early age to be active - my first involvement with sport (as for so many little girls!) was gymnastics.
At secondary school I was introduced to and instantly fell in love with trampolining.
I seemed to improve quite quickly and enjoyed learning new moves. Initially training and competing at school level, I managed to find other clubs which meant I could train 6 days a week - twice on Saturdays! The coach at my school club thought I possessed a talent for coaching, and I began to help out with the younger children.
Looking back now I realise that I discovered at an early age what a great feeling it is to share my knowledge and skills with others.
I was very proud to be chosen to represent my borough at the London Youth Games on two occasions, culminating in being ranked in the top 15 of London trampolinists.
When the time had come for me to leave full time education, I signed on the dotted line and enlisted in the Royal Air Force as an Admin Clerk. I boarded a train, leaving the family home in London and the trampolines that I had spent an enormous amount of time training on.
The way of life in the armed forces and the fantastic opportunities available enabled me to discover, participate and compete in a variety of sports (many under the guise of duty!) including;
∙ Athletics ∙ High Board and Springboard Diving ∙ Swimming ∙ Skiing ∙ Canoeing ∙ Rock Climbing
and a multitude of fitness components including strength, flexibility, core and circuit training, and fitness classes - both military and civilian.
When I decided to leave the RAF I thought long and hard about my choice of job in ‘the real world’. I decided to become a personal/group trainer to fulfil my passion for sharing my knowledge and experiences with people.
I believe that my motto encompasses my own intent.
No matter what your age - no matter what your job or your life entails.
Fit for family - - Fit for work - - Fit for play
Fit for today - - Fit for tomorrow
Fit For Life
Thank you for taking the time to read about me.
